By keeping company names and branding essentially the same, it's not readily apparent that the company went through bankruptcy and a pre-pack sale which wiped out £3m of debt owed to creditors. Changes in company numbers (highlighted in red) are indicators of the stark truth. 

Considerable information by company number is available at: http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/. Once there, click on "Find Company Information." For each company number you research, note the information under "Previous Name." And, for each company number from before 5 March 2012, also note the "Insolvency History."
